Love

Today I have a heart for sale that is made with grundgy stained red ticking fabric. On top of the heart are a male and female cardinal sitting in their nests holding a heart on their beaks. I have primitively stitched a pocket that says 2 Hearts 2 Gather 4 Ever on it and filled it with red and white pip berries. The pocket has been stained with barn red paint and coffee. I then made a small sign that says LOVE on it. On the bottom, I have attached a rusty heart and skeleton key with a rusty pin.

I love the way this turned out and it is one of my favorite pieces. This would make an adorable addition to any prim home. Or you could give it to that someone special as a wedding or anniversary gift.
